Remote Sensing Analyst

Chris specialises in all things jiggery-pokery related to remote sensing (image classification, raster processing, feature extraction. machine learning, process development and customisation etc). 

Chris is a skilled remote sensing analyst with expertise in developing procedures to interpret and derive actionable information from satellite and aerial imagery. Chris holds a Bacelor of Science with Honours (GIS and Remote Sensing) with extensive research experience in utilising state of the art drone technology to capture and produce rich spatial information. 

With particular focus on remote sensing application within the forestry and natural resources sectors, Chris is a key resource for our ongoing development and application of remote sensing and automation of processes in these sectors.

With expertise in a range of commercial and open source GIS/Remote Sensing software environments as well as proficiency in customisation and scripting, Chris provides a range of skills to benefit the Esk team.
