Esk appoints new Consultant - Forestry Research
Michelle comes to us with a strong catalogue of successful project design, implementation and delivery across the full value chain of the forest industry in Europe and Australia.
Currently writing up her thesis as PhD candidate at UTAS (ARC Centre for Forest Value), Michelle has spent the last 4 years engaging with forest growers, harvesters and processors in the Australian forest industry. Her investigation on wood quality of Eucalyptus plantations has led to a greater understanding of the drivers of important wood properties and to the development of innovative segregation systems for product types.
With exceptional ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders from harvesters, contractors to the executive, Michelle is a natural fit to leverage and extend the decades of technical and scientific forestry experience within the Esk team.
